We are experiencing a mail delivery issue where all email accounts on this server are not able to send email to @gmail.com addresses. Our engineers are investigating.

Customers will have slow to no email delivery to @gmail.com addresses from this server. All other email deliveries to other networks are working 100%.

17:00 [UPDATE] - We are still busy investigating the issue, it would seem some emails are being delivered already so progress is being made, however delivery to @gmail.com address is still being throttled by Google.

08:00 [UPDATE] - Emails are being sent to @gmail.com addresses but being throttled extremely slowly.  It would seem that the temporary block is being lifted slowly from Google's side but still only allowing X amount of emails at a time. We will continue to monitor the situation. We thank you for your patience.

Once again we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience during this issue.

Numerous amount of items were performed in order to get this working again:

  • We've tracked down the offending party that was spamming @gmail.com addresses and stopped the spamming.
  • We implemented SPF and DMARC records on all domains on this server to help assist with email delivery.
  • We've requested that Google remove the rate limiter for our server and all these things have helped in resolving the issue.

Incident Report: Uptime Monitor Failed on cPanel Server 1

An incident occurred at 2 am where an uptime monitor we had in place started to fail for cPanel Server 1.

We have since corrected the uptime monitor on cPanel Server 1.

Affected Customers:
There were no affected customers as the server was up the entire time, only the monitor was failing.
This would only affect the uptime stats for cPanel Server 1 for 5th March 2019 as monitor recorded downtime even though there was none.

Monitor corrected on 05 March 2019 at 8h30.
